      • Introduction

      We are pleased to invite you to the Interdisciplinary Meeting of Young Researchers and Students 2026, organized by the Czech Chemical Society and the Czech Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, with the support of our general partner Merck Life Science spol. s r.o.

      May 17–20, 2026 • Chateau Třešť, Vysočina Region

      This traditional conference brings together talented young scientists from the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, and biomaterial-related disciplines. The event offers a unique opportunity to present research results, exchange ideas, and build professional connections across disciplines. Participation in this event is limited to young researchers and students under the age of 35 (born in 1991 or later; the age limit may be extended to account for maternity leave) who are employed in the Czech or Slovak Republic.

      Registration & Abstracts

      Registration and abstract submission are open until January 31, 2026.

      Abstracts must be submitted in English and formatted according to the official template available at www.interdisciplinarymeeting.cz.

      Participants selected by the Scientific Committee will be notified by March 15, 2026.

      Awards

      (Competition open only to B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. students — not PostDocs.)
      The best oral presentations in each section will be awarded.

      Accommodation and meals are provided by the organizers.
      Participants cover their travel and beverages.
